what’s included in our flat rate service?
All our services are charged at a flat-rate per hour (from Monday - Friday, 6am-6pm and excluding Public Holidays). You can select the number of hours you require or request a quote. All quotes for cleaning services will be calculated based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you have in your home. Additionally, all living areas, dining and kitchen areas will be sparkling clean too! (Any additional rooms such as formal lounge and dining rooms, playrooms, studies etc are considered as bedrooms for purposes of requesting a quote.)
how do i book for a cleaning / housekeeping service?

do poppins plus cleaners and housekeepers have police checks and insurance?
Yes, they do!
Do you do one-off cleans?
Yes! Book us before your next home function to take the stress out of your day.
Note that casual bookings incur a $20 booking fee.
what does your standard cleaning service include?
A Poppins Plus Cleaner will attend to the following a part of a standard clean:
Vacuuming and mopping of floors.
Cleaning of bathrooms (including bathtubs, sinks and toilets).
Cleaning kitchens (including sink, cooktop and outside of appliances).
Dusting / cleaning of surfaces.
Cleaning mirrors.
what does your housekeeping service include?
A Poppins Plus Housekeeper can attend to any of the chores you would usually do yourself around the house but can’t or don’t want to! This could include laundry, ironing, washing dishes or packing/unpacking the dishwasher, cooking and meal preparation, running errands (such as grocery shopping), changing towels or bed linen, the list goes on and on! Please feel free to contact us to discuss your specific needs and we’ll find you the best person for the job.
What do your ‘additional services’ include?
These are the jobs that you want done but never quite get around to. Whether it be cleaning the oven or range-hood, sorting the pantry or linen cupboard or cleaning the windows. You can add ‘additional services’ onto your regular clean or book these as a once off service (a 2 hour minimum applies to each booking).
breakage and loss policy
If there is a breakage or loss during your cleaning, notification of such an event must be made to Poppins Plus within 24 hours of service, by email or phone. Once Poppins Plus receives the notification, a form will be sent to you to be filled out. Please note the form needs to be received within 30 days after the incident occurs.
WILL THE CLEANEr uSE MY proDuCTS?
Yes, the cleaner will use your products and appliances to complete the cleaning service. Please have all the products on hand that you would like the cleaner to use to get your home sparkling clean.
CuSToMEr SATiSFACTioN
Should you be unsatisfied with the services you receive for any reason, we will work with you to address your concerns. The procedure is as follows:
Contact us within 24 hours of completion of the services and provide us with details of your concerns and/or issues.
Photos of areas of concern may be required.
It will be at the discretion of Poppins Plus whether any alteration, refund or remedy is to be provided.
Poppins Plus prides itself on exceptional service and will respond as quickly as reasonably possible to any complaints received.
cancellation fees
We ask for 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hous notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
how many people will come to clean my house?
Generally 1 person will attend to provide the services. Occasionally a team of 2 people may be required. Should this be the case we would discuss this with you prior to confirming the booking.
how long will it take to clean my house?
It all depends on the condition of your home! But as a baseline take the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you have in your home and allow half an hour for each. Add extra time for any extra rooms (such as lounge room, study, playroom etc) and also if you have indoor pets. Kitchen and living/dining rooms are included in the above estimate. For example, if you have a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home and in indoor dog, please allow 3.5 hours. Weekly cleans may be a little quickly and fortnightly cleans a little slower, depending on the condition your home is kept in in between cleans.
do i have to be present?
No, absolutely not! It’s your choice to stay around or to be out. Just leave us a key and provide alarm or any code details (if necessary) we’ll get your house cleaned!
what services don’t you offer?
We don’t offer cleaning of chandeliers, light bulbs, bio-hazardous materials (Mold, etc.), hoarding, animal waste, high reach areas (requiring more than a step ladder), large furniture moving and large scale trash disposal.
are your cleaners and housekeepers pet friendly?
Definitely! Our staff have training on how to work around dogs, cats and other pets and how best to clean in homes with pets. We’re a pet friendly cleaning service.
am i required to enter my payment information?
No, you will be invoiced for your services by Poppins Plus on a weekly basis and can make payment by EFT, direct debit or credit card (note credit card payment incurs a 1.75% credit card fee).
